Contractor Referrals

Although THACCA cannot recommend a particular contractor, you can obtain a list of THACCA contractors in your area by calling us at (419) 241-3601 or clicking here.

Your best method of selecting a contractor is by referrals from family, friends and neighbors. In addition, you may take the following into consideration:

• Are telephone calls returned on a timely basis?
• Does the size of company make a difference? A larger company may have more technicians available; a smaller company may provide more consistency on who comes to your house.
• Is the contractor locally established? If not, how long will it take him to get to your home, and will he be readily available to service your needs?
• Are payment requirements acceptable? A reputable contractor will generally ask for no more than a 50% down payment, with the balance never due before the job is completed.
