Information for Consumers


THACCA is committed to increasing consumer awareness about the HVAC industry.

This includes promoting sound trade practices, establishing standards of workmanship, establishing codes of ethical practices and promoting higher standards of performance.

Consumers are protected when they deal with contractors who subscribe to these purposes of THACCA. THACCA communicates regularly with the Better Business Bureau to insure its efforts are consistent with the standards of the BBB.

THACCA will assist consumers who have a problem with a member in resolving that problem. THACCA is committed to having its members live up to the highest standards.

Why should I Join THACCA?


Continuing Education Credit
 THACCA is a State of Ohio approved Training Agency that offers numerous opportunities for member contractors to obtain their annual training.

Code Roundtables
Held twice a year, they allow contractors and building inspectors to interact and resolve questions before they occur on a jobsite.

Social Functions
THACCCA has had a long standing golf outing and dinner that provides networking opportunities.

Recognition
THACCA is recognized in Northwest Ohio as the voice of the HVAC industry and has the respect of local and state elected officials, building officials and other trade associations.

Political Advocacy
THACCA has a long history of political advocacy in Northwest Ohio and its views are sought out by local and state elected officials. THACCA provides input to governmental jurisdictions when they are considering legislation or regulations which will impact on the HVAC industry.
